Generation to Generation - Empowering Young Women
At Holy Land Trust, we are pleased to announce the launch of the fourth and enhanced edition of the Generation to Generation project, which aims to train and empower 20 female students from Bethlehem University. These young women come from the city, refugee camps, and villages, representing diverse academic specialties and backgrounds.
The project will be implemented over several phases, beginning with curriculum development, participant selection, and coordination with trainers and university staff. Students will have the opportunity to register for the program as part of their community service course. The training phase will include 15 workshops focusing on identity, leadership, trauma, activism, and community engagement. Participants will also take part in specialized storytelling, writing, and photography workshops, enabling them to document the experiences of inspiring women role models. Their work will be published in a bilingual booklet (Arabic and English) and showcased in a public exhibition. The project will conclude with a series of dialogue sessions on women's roles in society and regional engagement opportunities to connect students with broader advocacy and policy networks.
This project highlights the critical role of Palestinian women in shaping their communities, empowering them to become leaders in peacebuilding, decision-making, and social change.
